Two regal peacocks perch on a weathered stone balustrade, their cascading trains rendered in jewel tones—emerald, teal, cobalt, gold, magenta and sunset orange—with vividly painted eye-spots, set beneath trailing purple blooms by a golden lakeside dawn and a distant classical temple, all executed in a lush, painterly oil-brush style. The warm, nostalgic light and richly textured brushwork give the image a tactile, romantic serenity that feels lovingly handcrafted. Made as decoupage tissue paper, this image is perfect for furniture makeovers, trays, cabinets and mixed-media home décor crafts and will bring a graceful focal point to projects—"Peacock Pair in Golden Garden Decoupage Paper".

Painterly & Timeless | Emotionally Driven | Wildly Varied Designs

I began creating decoupage designs while restoring and reimagining furniture. I loved the idea that an ordinary or timeworn piece could become something more — not simply decorated, but transformed into a work of art in its own right. That inspired me to begin creating artwork with character, depth, and a sense of timelessness: designs that could give an old piece a new life or bring something unexpected to a new one. What began with furniture eventually grew into a love of creating the artwork itself, and today I design across many subjects and styles with that same idea in mind — creating pieces meant to inspire, transform, and endure.
