Decoupage Boutique

Painterly & Timeless | Emotionally Driven | Wildly Varied Designs

Decoupage Boutique
Lillian started with furniture and ended up creating something far bigger. Frustrated by the same recycled designs everywhere, she built Decoupage Boutique around original artwork meant to stir feeling, spark memory, and transform everyday objects into pieces worth keeping. Wide-ranging in subject, united by soul.

Gallery Depth. Furniture Scale.

From a child with an animal to a face from another era, a moody landscape to something boldly abstract — Decoupage Boutique draws from people, places, culture, nature, history, and the small moments that carry emotion. Lillian creates with the depth and presence of work you'd frame and hang, then brings it to the scale of furniture you actually live with. Muted earth tones one day, rich jewel tones the next. The only constant is that every piece has somewhere to go and something to say.

Impasto painting of a city skyline at night with a large dark cypress tree reaching into a swirling, starry blue and gold sky.

What kinds of images keep pulling you back to your drawing board?

People, places, nature, history, culture — anything that makes me feel something and gives me somewhere to go creatively. Sometimes it's a child with an animal, sometimes a face from another era or an abstract that just takes over. If an image moves me, I follow it.

What does it mean to you when a design works on furniture?

When it feels like it belongs — not applied on top, but part of the piece itself. Like the furniture always had that story in it and you just finally brought it to the surface. That's the moment I'm always chasing, and it never gets old.

Who connects most with Decoupage Boutique's style?

People who want their furniture to mean something. Makers who are tired of the same recycled images and want something that feels original, personal, and worth holding onto for years. My work is for anyone who believes a finished piece should feel like art, not just decoration.
