Every product on Paintniques is made to order. Nothing is sitting in a warehouse waiting for you — your item is printed specifically for you after you place your order. That’s what makes each piece special, and it’s also why our shipping timeline works a little differently than ordering from a retailer with stocked inventory.
Please read this page before ordering so you know exactly what to expect.
01. How Print-on-Demand Shipping Works
When you place an order on Paintniques, here’s what happens:
- Your order is sent directly to our print fulfillment center
- Your item is printed, quality-checked, and packaged — all as part of the same production window
- Once production is complete, your order ships directly from the fulfillment center to your door
There is no separate warehouse, no pre-stocked shelves, and no middleman step. Your order goes from press to package to you.

We know it’s tempting to expect two-day delivery — but the trade-off is a product made with intention, just for you. We think that’s worth it. |
02. Estimated Shipping Timeline
All timeframes below are estimates in business days (Monday–Friday, excluding federal holidays). They are not guarantees.

⏱ Planning a project? Order ahead. If you’re ordering for an upcoming project or need your paper by a specific date, please place your order at least 14–17 business days in advance to allow comfortable production and transit time. We cannot expedite production once an order is placed. |
03. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your order weight, dimensions, and delivery address. You’ll see your exact shipping cost before you complete your purchase — there are no surprise fees after checkout.
We currently ship to addresses within the contiguous United States, Alaska, and Hawaii. We do not ship outside the United States at this time.
04. Carriers & Tracking
Orders are shipped via major US carriers, which may include USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on your location and order size. Carrier selection is made by our fulfillment center at the time of shipment.
Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number. You can use that number directly on the carrier’s website to follow your package.
Please allow up to 24 hours after receiving your shipping confirmation for tracking information to become active in the carrier’s system.
05. Address Accuracy
Because your order ships directly from our fulfillment center, we have a very limited window to make address changes after an order is placed. Please double-check your shipping address carefully before completing checkout.
If you realize you’ve entered an incorrect address, contact us immediately at create@paintniques.com with your order number. We will do our best to update it, but we cannot guarantee changes can be made once production has begun.
Paintniques is not responsible for orders that are undeliverable, delayed, or lost due to an incorrect or incomplete address provided at checkout. If a package is returned to our fulfillment center due to an address error, you may be responsible for the cost of reshipping.
06. Delays & Exceptions
While we do everything we can to meet our estimated timelines, some situations are outside our control:
- Carrier delays due to weather, holidays, or high-volume shipping periods
- Delays during major US holidays — production and transit times may extend during peak seasons such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s
- Unexpected fulfillment center disruptions
- Address corrections or undeliverable package rerouting
During high-volume periods (particularly November–December), we recommend adding 3–5 additional business days to your estimate and ordering early.
If your package appears significantly delayed beyond the estimated window and tracking has not updated in 5 or more business days, please contact us at create@paintniques.com and we will investigate with the carrier.
07. Lost or Undelivered Packages
Tracking shows “Delivered” but nothing arrived
First, check around your property, with neighbors, and at any alternate delivery locations. Carriers occasionally scan packages as delivered slightly before physical arrival.
If your package still hasn’t turned up within 2 business days of the delivery scan, contact us at create@paintniques.com with:
- Your order number
- Your tracking number
- Confirmation that you’ve checked with neighbors and building management if applicable
We’ll open an investigation with the carrier. If the package is confirmed lost, we’ll send a replacement. See our Return & Refund Policy for full details on our replacement process.
Package stuck in transit
If your tracking hasn’t updated in 5 or more business days and your package hasn’t arrived, contact us at create@paintniques.com. We’ll work with the carrier to locate your order and determine next steps.
What we can’t cover
We are not responsible for packages that are:
- Undeliverable due to an incorrect or incomplete address entered at checkout
- Stolen after confirmed delivery (we recommend filing a police report and a claim with your carrier in this case)
- Delayed due to weather events, natural disasters, or carrier-wide disruptions
08. Damaged in Transit
If your order arrives damaged, please don’t throw anything away — we’ll need documentation to file a claim with the carrier and process your replacement.
Contact us at create@paintniques.com within 14 days of delivery with:
- Your order number and tracking number
- Photos of the damaged item
- Photos of the damaged packaging and shipping label
We’ll handle the carrier claim on our end and send you a replacement. You do not need to return the damaged item. See our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
09. Order Cancellations
Because production begins quickly after an order is placed, cancellations are only possible within 24 hours of purchase. After that window, your order is in production and cannot be cancelled or modified.
To request a cancellation within 24 hours, email create@paintniques.com immediately with your order number in the subject line.
