A repeating folk-art pattern of weathered red five-point stars alternating with worn teal-blue ovals sits on a creamy peach and beige ground, rendered in a distressed, hand-stenciled, mixed-media texture with scuffed edges and chalky highlights. The piece feels like a sun-faded quilt found in a farmhouse attic—nostalgic, tactile and gently aged, with layered brushwork and soft abrasion that invites touch and memory. Perfect for decoupage tissue applications on trays, cabinets, furniture makeovers, and layered mixed-media home décor projects, this motif adds rustic Americana charm to any craft — "Liberty Quilt Decoupage Paper".

Meet the Artist

Kellie Morgan

Vintage & Nostalgic, Whimsical & Illustrative, Abstract & Modern

Art is definitely in my DNA, even if it took me half a century to figure out what I was actually doing with it! I'm at my best when I'm embracing imperfect layers, mixing textures, and just letting a piece evolve into whatever it wants to be. That creative freedom? Worth every single step of the journey. My style is basically organized mayhem. I build depth out of heavy layers of paper, color, grit, and scraped textures—sometimes with a random treasure from the yard thrown in for good measure. Whether I'm working on canvas, paper, or my computer, it all starts with color. Color runs the show. It hooks my brain immediately and sets the tone for every layer that follows. I design for makers who actually make things, which means every sheet is packed with artwork at multiple scales—because who really uses a giant full-sheet design on a tin can? My art is meant to land somewhere between a head tilt and a quiet chuckle, and I hope it brings a little of that same joy to whatever you're creating.
